LUCE is a rock band based in San Francisco, California. Founded in 2000 by lead singer and songwriter Tom Luce, the band has spent more than two decades creating music that is honest, melodic, energetic, and engaging.

Their 2002 self-titled debut album won the California Music Award for Outstanding Debut and brought the band into the national spotlight when the song “Good Day” peaked at No. 39 on the Billboard Adult Top 40 chart. The track became a cultural touchstone, appearing on The O.C. and Alias, and was featured in the films 13 Going on 30 and How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days.

The band’s journey has included both triumph and adversity. Despite setbacks such as a house fire, stolen equipment, and a brief hiatus, LUCE found its way back to the music. Their third album, Corner of the World (2018), along with subsequent releases, further cemented their reputation as one of the Bay Area’s most beloved bands.

Today, Tom and the band are working on new music and continue to perform at clubs, fundraisers, and private events.
